Jeffrey Larson was born in Two Harbors, Minnesota, in 1962 and grew up in the Twin Cities. Trained at the Atelier Lack,
Larson studied the methods of the Old Masters, from Impressionism through 19th century French academic painting. He
supplemented his four years of formal training at museums in the U.S. and abroad and studied human anatomy at the University of
Minnesota and bronze casting and finishing at a private foundry. Larson has had solo exhibitions at galleries in New York,
New Mexico, and Arizona, and his work has been featured in "The Artist's Magazine," "American Art Collector," and "American
Artist." He has won recognition for his fine art, winning first place in "The Artist's Magazine" 2009 Annual National
Landscape Competition and was named among the "Artists to Watch" by "US Art Magazine."
